Although my career path as a court reporter had been rewarding, after 24 years, I found myself wanting more.  I love fashion!  I love color!  I love originality!  And I love thrifting the most!  Because of all those loves,  I began gussying up a few of my old favorites, which turned into new favorites.  I was amazed at what a little creativity and hand-stitching could do.

Rag rugs became a staple in my home, mostly because of the variety of colors and textures in the fabric used to create them left me dumbfounded.

When I became a mom to my Australian Shepherd, Ozzie, I began my search for  a perfect collar & leash combo with uniqueness as my goal.  With few favorable results, my mind went into auto mode on how to design and create the ideal collar for Ozzie.  To my surprise, it was customized and perfect.

I began making dog collars for friends and family as gifts.  My love for using rag rug fabric for my collars quickly turned into making all kinds of rag-rug things!
